Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer
Scripture:
Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do. (Hebrews 13:18 NLT)
Observation:
Simple message of our conscience is clear and we want to live in a godly manner with integrity in everything we do AND we know that we need the prayers of others to stay on the right track.
Application:
Even the greatest of apostles understood he needed the prayers of the church. Our leaders need out prayers. Even though they may have a totally clear conscience, they are targets for the enemy. If the enemy can destroy the head, he defeats the body. Pray for them that they may live in a godly manner with integrity in everything they do. And leaders, do not be too proud to request the prayers of the church so that you may continue the work God has given you to do.
Prayer:
Father, for those I lead, I desire their prayers. Do not let me hesitate to ask for them. And for those who lead me, I intercede on their behalf that you would enable them to live in a godly manner with integrity in everything they do. Protect them from the enemy and strengthen them for the temptations at hand.
