Scripture – Observation – Application – Prayer
Scripture:
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. (1 John 4:13 NLT)
Observation:
More proof from God about our salvation. God gave us his Spirit so that we can know that He lives in us and we live in Him.
Application:
The Spirit of God is with us and in us. His Spirit produces love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, etc. in us as proof of our changed lives. This is a powerful passage. If there is no change, there is no proof. His Spirit produces change.
Prayer:
Father, help me to allow the Spirit to finish your work in me. Thank you for the assurance I have from your Spirit of your presence in me.
